U.P. Home Health & Hospice and U.P. Private Duty Services honor employees

MARQUETTE — U.P. Home Health & Hospice and U.P. Private Duty Services recently announced the organization’s 2023 Employees of the Year.

This annual award is based on peer nominations and specific criteria, which includes a commitment to quality patient care, teamwork, and professional development. Each of the recipients was presented with a monetary award and plaque in recognition of their outstanding service and is recognized on a plaque on display at the agency.

A news release from UPHHH states:

≤ Dorothy Robenault, RN, a 7-year veteran of the agency, was named the Direct Care Staff Employee of the Year. Dorothy has been described as kind, humble, compassionate, caring, and dedicated. “She is always calm and professional and inspires confidence in her patients. She is very helpful to her co-workers and is often a voice of reason,” stated one of her nominations. “I have heard one of her patients comment that Dorothy is a great nurse and I always feel comfortable with her and know that I am in good hands,” stated another. “Dorothy is always willing to help whenever needed. She is loved and respected by her patients, their families, and all of her coworkers. Her work is always thorough, timely and her patients are well-managed.” Dorothy is a wonderful nurse and co-worker and we are very fortunate to have her as a part of our team.

≤ Amanda Beauchamp, CSS Clerk, hired in 2021, was named the Non-Direct Care Staff Employee of the Year. Amanda has been described as helpful, friendly, cheerful, easy to talk to and immediately willing to help with whatever is needed. “Amanda is always willing to pick up open shifts and if there are any questions on how things get done, Amanda will find the answer/solution,” stated one nomination. “She always keeps everyone’s belly full in the office and brings up morale every day.” stated another.

“Amanda has been a fantastic addition to the CSS department, she is full of energy and has a positive attitude.”

Amanda is a great employee and a crucial member of the angel team.

≤ Ashley Dowling, Private Duty Aide, was named Private Duty Employee of the Year. Ashley is pleasant, hardworking, and understanding. Ashley has been with the agency for 4 years and is a true asset to the team. Her contributions to our senior community have helped so many of our clients and their families. She is a true angel, and we are blessed to have her.
