Heather Steltenpohl, left, Development Director at Peter White Public Library in Marquette, receives a check from Melissa Wilson, Regent of the Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The chapter donation will help with digitizing the Mining Journal newspaper to make its data searchable on the internet. The project will take between three and five years to complete. This project falls under Historic Preservation in the three pillars of DAR and the Onagomingkway Chapter is honored to offer some help in making local history researching easier for the public.
