MARQUETTE — The following students were selected to receive scholarships from the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 380 of Marquette County, in April 2023:

VVA 380 Scholarships went to Kenneth Hagle IV (grandson of Kenneth Hagle Jr), from Commerce Township and Madacyn Helstein (niece of Gary Helstein) from Neganuee

Veterans Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Chase Bonovetz (grandson of Robert Linn) and Ryan Kerkela (grandson of David Kurtz), both from Negaunee.

The VVA said in a news release: “Thank you to all of the students who submitted applications this year. Both recipients and those not selected will be notified by mail.”
