Rotary helps Scouts

MARQUETTTE — The Rotary Club of Marquette continues its long support of the Boy Scouts with a contribution of $1,000 to the Bay Lakes Boy Scout Council to assist with camp fees and registration fees for needy Scouts.

Accepting the donation is Patrick O’Brien, the District Director for the Hiawathaland District which covers the Upper Peninsula from Club President Erica Huss and member Dewey Jones.

Rotary is a world community of 1.2 million business and professional men and women. They are organized into 30,000 clubs, with clubs in 174 counties. These provide the opportunity for the good fellowship, fundraising activities and charitable work in their communities and around the world.
