Dancers shine at competition
Students from New Attitudes Dance Studios attended Artistic Dance Excahnge in dowtnown Minneapolis. They took part in a two-day competition and a three-day convention. Dancers received top placements and adjudications for competition entries and a duo performed by Isabel Oman and Josie White also received Best in Musical Theater and 1st place overall in their division. Audrina Gleesen and Isabel Oman also received scholarhsips to the finals in Orlando for Excellence in Class. All students took part in various classes from world renowned instructors in many styles including contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, jazz, ballet and more. Students represented Marquette with a willingness to learn outside of their comfort zone achieving skills and knowledge to further their talent and love for dancing.
