Area residents earn Dean’s List honors

MARQUETTE — A number of local residents have earned Dean’s List honors at their colleges and universities:

≤ The University of Minnesota Duluth has announced its Dean’s List for Spring Semester 2022. Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher while earning a minimum of 12 letter-graded credits. Making the list is William Luke, freshman from Negaunee, studying pre sccounting in the Labovitz School of Business and Economics.

Luke, now a sophomore, also earned Fall Semester 2022 Dean’s List honors at UM-Duluth.

≤ The following students have been named to the 2022 fall semester dean’s list at St. Norbert College. A minimum 3.5 grade point average is required for academic eligibility. They are Alexis LaCombe of Marquette and Abbie Tollefson of Negaunee.

≤ The University of Wisconsin-Superior has named Daylyn Drew of Negaunee to the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester. 

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 degree-seeking semester credits and achieved at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

≤ The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year including Madeleine Kochis of Marquette who is part of the School of Pharmacy and earned the Honor Roll.

≤ The following area student was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2022 semester at Quinnipiac University: Clare Veverka of Marquette.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, non-sectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls 9,500 students in 110 degree program.

≤ University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have released the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List and Honor Roll in fall 2022 across its three campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Oshkosh).

Hart Holmgren of Ishpeming earned a spot on the Honor Roll. The term grade-point average (GPA) requirement for University Honor Roll is 3.3.

≤ Concordia University Wisconsin officials have released the Spring Honors List for the 2021-2022 academic year. To be eligible for the honor, students must achieve a minimum 3.60 GPA. Among the area students named to the list was Emily Ott of Marquette, a senior in marketing.

Founded in 1881, Concordia University Wisconsin, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, offers over 75 undergraduate majors and is affiliated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The school is located on 200 acres of Lake Michigan shoreline, only 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee.
