Rodney Modell, chaplain of the Lac Vieux Desert Trail Society, National Society Children of the American Revolution, conducts the installation ceremony welcoming Rachel Simon as a new member. Simon, a student at Northern Michigan University, is also a member of the Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR. C.A.R. was founded in 1895 and is the oldest patriotic youth society in the country.
