Super One Foods in Marquette hosted the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter on Sept. 2 for a cookout and “wish list” drive. UPAWS had volunteers on hand to let customers know what items the shelter needs (picked up in Super One) and other volunteers grilled up delicious brats and hot dogs to enjoy. At the end of the afternoon, a total of $449.50 to support the UPAWS shelter and was earned. Many wonderful Super One customers dropped off items UPAWS uses every day.
