Keitha Callanan of Marquette, National Defense Chair of the Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, was busy this graduation season awarding DAR Outstanding Cadet medals to students at various Upper Peninsula schools. Cadet Cayley Cunard, a senior at Houghton High School, right, Vivian Heikell, a junior at Calumet High School, left, and Emma Coenen, a student at Michigan Technological University, center, all received a medal and certificate from Callanan. “I love this part of volunteering!” Callanan said.
