Marquette Elks Lodge 405 donated and assembled more than 100 snack bags for the South Shore Fishing Association’s annual Veterans Fishing Day. 52 boats carried 92 veterans out on Lake Superior for a morning of fishing. Several hundred residents gathered at the marina to welcome the veterans back with their catch.
