Sam Markey of Troop 302 recently received the Eagle Scout Award. He is pictured with his parents Patrick and Karin and Scoutmaster Chuck Suckow on the right. Sam’s Scouting highlights include a trek to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, service on the aquatics staff at Camp Hiawatha, and backpacking on Isle Royale. Sam is a senior at Marquette Senior High School where he has excelled at track, going to the state finals all four years. He is also on the ski patrol at Marquette Mountain and on the Nordic ski team.
