Starr scholars at Michigan State University

Eight Upper Peninsula graduating seniors from seven different high schools have been named Starr Scholars at Michigan State University. The Starr Scholars were selected from 130 applicants, and will receive free tuition and room and board for four years, a monthly stipend, and additional money to cover books and the cost of a new computer. The scholars are pictured with MSU mascot, Sparty, during a recent visit to campus to meet current MSU Starr Scholars, as well as University faculty and staff.
