Three new members were inducted into the Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at a recent meeting held at The Hut in Kearsarge. Chaplain Keitha Callanan of Marquette conducted the ceremony welcoming Mary Beals of Marquette, Erin Barnett of Atlantic Mine and Carrie Richards of Houghton into the chapter. Each member traces her heritage back to a patriot who either fought in the American Revolution or was instrumental in helping the cause. Onagomingkway also celebrated its 17th anniversary as well as the designation of Lantern Chapter, one created from members of another chapter who wish to shine the light of DAR.
