Paul Callanan, a member of the Northern Michigan Chapter, National Society Sons of the American Revolution, right, presents Rodney Modell with the Bronze C.A.R-SAR Medal of Achievement. Modell has just completed his two-year term as president of Marquette’s Lac Vieux Desert Trail Society, National Society Children of the American Revolution, as well as having served as the Michigan State Children of the American Revolution chair of “Kids Helping Kids”, a program which collects personal items for children in foster care.
