The Lac Vieux Desert Trail Society, National Society Children of the American Revolution, installed its new officers at their meeting at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. Representing the society for a two-year term are Ray Modell as First Vice President, Ilah Wilson as Librarian/Curator, Melody Nowicki as Historian, Molly Wilson as Corresponding Secretary, and Piper Smart as Treasurer in the back row. President Russell Modell and Recording Secretary Rhianna Modell stand in the middle with Chaplain Rodney Modell, Danielle Nowicki as Second vice President, and Katie Nowicki as Registrar in front. Senior Society President Heather Modell, a member of the Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR, conducted the ceremony.
