The 2021 Marquette County Crop Walk raised funds for two local food pantries. The Northern Michigan University Food Pantry was one of the recipients. The amount they received was $814.42. The NMU Food Pantry assists about 40 students a week. In the photo at the top back row from the left: the Rev. Steve Solberg, Haley Rhoades, Emily Varga, Janel Voss and Tyler Rybarczyk. In the front row: Emmalynn Swanson. The other recipient was St. Vincent’s Food Pantry. The amount they received was $814.42. St. Vincent’s Food Pantry assists between 130 and 150 families a month.
