MARQUETTE -- Cub Scout Pack 395 recently celebrated its very successful popcorn sale by recognizing top sellers.
The Top Seller was Caleb Rayhorn who sold $2,951 of Pecatonica River products.
Five Cubs sold over $1,000 each: Olivia Ellingson, Jude Sims, Eero Rutz, Adrian Garcia, and Caleb Schwinderson.
Schwinderson was recognized as "Rookie of the Year" for the most sales by a first-year seller.
Steven Dillabough was recognized for "Most Computer Hits" by having the most online sales.
Thirty-three Scouts participated in the sale.
According to a press release, the pack appreciates the businesses which allowed it to conduct "Show and Sell" displays at their stores: Super One, Econo, Tractor Supply, Snyder Drugs, Campus Pharmacy, and Blackrocks Brewery.
Also at the meeting, advancements from the fall activities were awarded by Cubmaster Jose Garcia.
Tigers Calvin Clegg, Corwyn Foulkes, Lucas Iery, Walter Larson, Silas Pesola, and Olivia Ellingson earned My Tiger Jungle, Games Tigers Play, Team Tiger, and Tiger Bites Adventures from Leaders Kevin Clegg and Kristin-Ann Beck.
Girl Bears Eva Dombrowski, Charlotte Lester, and Aria Parsley received Furs, Feathers, and Ferns from Heather Dombrowski after a visit to the Chocolay Raptor Center. The Boy Bears Oliver Hartman, Huxley Hokenson, Jay Janson, Gabriel Kreitner, Jacob Schaedig, James Larson, and Keyan Trasti earned Baloo the Builder from leader Katherine Divine after learning from Joe Gracie at Graci Gallery.
Webelos Eero Rutz, Steven Dillabough, Christian Hausman, and Caleb Rayhorn were recognized for earning the Aquanaut Adventure by leader Jim Hausmann.
Highlight of the Advancement program was the presentation of the Arrow of Light Award to Hudson Jones who joined the pack in 2016. He then "crossed the bridge" into Boy Scouts and was welcomed into Troop 302 by Scoutmaster Chuck Suckow and Scouts from the Troop.
Olivia Ellingson received the "Scouting Spirit" award for the month for exemplifying the values of Scouting during the meeting.
The pack's Christmas Service project was collecting socks for the Women's Center, but the socks were first used in a game of GaGa socks.
