NEGAUNEE -- The Friends of the Negaunee Public Library have dedicated a plaque to former member Jeanne Sandstrom, which will hang at the entrance to the Reading Room of the library. Sandstrom, the longtime president of the Friends group and also a member of the library advisory board, passed away Feb. 23, 2021, following a lengthy illness. A celebration of Sandstrom's life will be held by the Friends group in the spring of 2022.
