At the annual Department of Michigan American Legion Convention, Marquette Unit 44 member, Annie Wood with Department Member of the Year. According to a press release: “Annie is very deserving of this award. She was honored by Unit 44 at their annual potluck dinner. Annie is a driving force behind most projects the Unit undertakes to provide care and comfort to our veterans. We are so proud of her accomplishment and so very thankful for her commitment to ‘Service Not Self.'”
