Bohnak donates books to DAR

Karl Bohnak, chief meteorologist at WL,UC-TV6, stands with Karen Wertanen, librarian of the Onagomingkway Chapter, NSDAR and Sarah Smart, First Vice Regent, after autographing a copy of his book “So Cold A Sky.” Bohnak donated his book, which has been accepted at the DAR Library in Washington, D.C., for its historical account of Upper Peninsula weather. The DAR Library celebrated its 125th anniversary in February and holds over 200,000 books focusing on genealogy, history and the American Revolution.
