The Fire Station has restarted a monthly campaign to donate to local organizations. In the month of September, The Fire Station is donating to animal shelters across the Upper Peninsula starting with the Delta Animal Shelter which recently rescued 134 dogs from a puppy mill. UPAWS, Menominee Animal Shelter, and Alger County Animal Shelter will also recipients of donations in September. In total, $1,000 will be donated to the animal shelters.
