Rhodes, a volunteer for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, receives a check from Dr. Tim Hunt of Bayshore Veterinary Hospital in Harvey, which ran a special fundraiser for the shelter. Bayshore raised $788.10 for UPAWS by having a cooler outside the facility during the summer.
