Area students make Dean’s List at various colleges, universities

Northland College

ASHLAND, Wis. — Northland College has named the following students to the dean’s list for outstanding academic performance during the winter 2019-2020 term.

To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale with no grade less than a “C.” Northland College is a private liberal arts college located in northern Wisconsin.

Gwinn: Dakota Stankowski, senior

Negaunee: Molly Lawton, sophomore

St. Norbert College

DE PERE, Wis. — The following student has been named to the 2020 spring semester dean’s list at St. Norbert College. A minimum 3.5 grade point average is required for academic eligibility.

The only Norbertine college in the world, St. Norbert is a four-year, Catholic liberal arts institution nestled beside the Fox River in De Pere, Wis., neighboring Green Bay.

University of Wisconsin-Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has made public the names of undergraduate students receiving semester honors for the spring 2020 semester. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. Students are listed by the county claimed as place of permanent residence.

All were full-time students in the spring term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework.

This list includes students attending all four UW-Green Bay campuses (Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc, Sheboygan).

UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,660 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation.

High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are being sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.
