LAKE LINDEN — Bob and Patricia Gerbig of Lake Linden announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Gerbig, to Matthew Matta, son of Jill and Martin Madsen. Rachel received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Northern Michigan University. She is currently working for Adult Learning Services. Matthew received a bachelor of science degree in electronic journalism from Northern Michigan University. He is currently general manager of a local McDonald’s. A September 2020 wedding is planned.
