Munising competes in High School Bowl

On Feb. 15, the Munising “Mustangs” played the North Central “Jets” in the second round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 200-140. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Munising will advance to the third round when they play Calumet in Game 34, scheduled to air on Saturday. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 pm and Mondays at 3 p.m. Find more information on the 2019-2020 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
