On Friday, the Negaunee Elks used part of this year’s Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant to treat Big Brothers and Sisters to tubing at the Al Quaal tube slide in Ishpeming. Six bigs and their littles attended. Also four Negaunee Elks took the time to enjoy the day with four unmatched children waiting for a big to be matched with. At any point in time, there are 100,000 children in the U.S. waiting to be matched with a Big Brother or Sister. Donations to ENF help to help children from single-parent and troubled homes.
