‘Downton Abbey’ to be screened

MARQUETTE — Bring lunch and get together with other movie lovers to watch “Downton Abbey” at 12:20 p.m. Thursday in the Peter White Public Library’s Community Room on the lower level of the library.

Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.

The movie, set in 1927, continues the saga of the Crawley family and their servants about a year and a half after the Masterpiece series ended. The Crawley family and staff are now preparing for a visit from the King and Queen of England. Starring Matthew Goode, Tuppence Middleton and Maggie Smith, this 2019 romantic drama is rated PG and runs 122 minutes.
