Munising, Gwinn face off in High School Bowl

The Munising Mustangs played the Gwinn Modeltowners in the first round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 230-50. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Munising will advance to the second round when they play North Central in Game 28, scheduled to air on Feb. 15. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. Find more information on the 2019-2020 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
