Baker said they volunteered their time to cut down trees from her property so she could deliver it to the organization, which now has enough wood to heat its facility for a few years. “I really believe that if people have the resources, such as I did with the wood and PineShears did with their equipment and time, that paying it forward is so appreciated,” Baker said in an email. “Good people and good deeds lead to a good community.”
