Each year the committee conducts its Support Local Schools Raffle to help schools throughout Marquette County. Since it started in 2016, the committee has donated over $30,000 to schools across the county. Over the last two years, Gilbert and Sawyer schools have received a total of $6,000. Both schools in Gwinn have put their funds to good use in creating and outfitting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics labs for the students to use. (Photo courtesy of Marci Paulsen)
