On Aug. 13, Jim Borowski, president and CEO of Goodwill of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan accepted a donation from the Pet Partners organization to help defray the costs of the U.P. Rec Camp. Goodwill is the main sponsor and fiduciary of the camp, which provides a recreational camp experience to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The camp is held at Bay Cliff for a week in the middle of August. It is free of charge to the participants, relying solely on donations from the community. Pet Partners, a yearly participant in the programming, donated generously to the camp in addition to bringing their dogs up to Big Bay.
