American Legion Auxiliary Unit 44 announces essay winner

Participation certificates, and the year’s winner of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 44’s yearly essay contest were presented to seventh- and eighth-grade students at Father Marquette Catholic Academy. Contest winner Eleanor Grosvenor’s essay will advance to state level. Grosvenor was also one of four winners from Unit 44 last year who received state-level honors.
