The Next Generation Committee from the United Steelworkers Local 4950 recently donated $1,500 to Lakeview Elementary School in Negaunee. Shown in the picture presenting the check to Lakeview School Principal Julie Peterson, a group of Lakeview third-grade students are the Next Generation Committee. The Local 4950 USW sponsored a raffle to generate funds to support local schools and Lakeview was one of the recipients of this project.
