The annual Michigan Association of School Boards Certified Board Member Award Ceremony/Dinner, recognizing outstanding school board members and boards of education, was held on June 4. A local school board member was recognized at this ceremony/dinner held at Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency. Rich Rossway, currently on the Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education, received the Master Diamond Award.
