Amanda Matznick from Westwood High School is a high school exchange student sponsored by the Ishpeming Rotary Club. She is currently spending a year of high school in Taichung, Taiwan, at a high school of over 7,500 students. She is immersed with the students while learning Mandarin Chinese along with staying with host families. The Ishpeming Rotary Club is looking for an enthusiastic high school student of interest to be its next delegate to represent the area for the 2018-19 school year. Candidates must be from either Negaunee, Ishpeming, Westwood or Republic-Michigan high schools, ages 15.5-18.5 years old, top half of their class with an average GPA greater than 2.75.
