Guard members
gain promotions
ISHPEMING – Mark Zeman of Marquette and Freddi Clifton of Hancock were recently promoted to sergeant in the Michigan Army National Guard.
Zeman is an electronic warfare sergeant and Clifton is a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear noncommissioned officer.
Both are with the Ishpeming-based 107th Headquarters and Headquarters Company. Zeman has been a member of the Guard for eight years and Clifton for four years.
Both Soldiers recently completed annual training at Fort Polk Joint Readiness Training Center in Leesville, La.
