Recent Negaunee High School graduates Joseph Uren and Noel Grant, right, receive $500 scholarship checks from Debby Muskovitch, office manager at the North Jackson Company. In the fall, Grant is planning to attend the University of Michigan and Uren plans to attend Michigan Tech University. They are both interested in computer science. The North Jackson Company – an engineering and geological consulting firm with offices in Marquette and Corvallis, Ore. – began its scholarship program in 2001 to honor and support the scholastic efforts and goals of Negaunee graduates.
