ISHPEMING – Andrew D. Welsh, a 2014 graduate of Ishpeming High School, graduated from boot camp for the U.S. Marine Corps in San Diego Oct. 31.
The son of Betty Rantanen and Dale Welsh, he is receiving further training in San Diego and then will pursue his career choice in cryptologic linguistics in Monterey, Calif.
