Nystrom earns degree

Former Marquette resident Steven M. Nystrom, center, recently received a masters of military arts and science degree from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. Nystrom was the first graduate from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to successfully complete the program, which included studies in military strategy, army design methodology, leadership, and foreign affairs. He is the son of Donald and Sally Nystrom and the son-in-law of Owen and Madonna Howell, all of Marquette.
