Women of the First United Methodist Church in Marquette recently sent 47 dresses and 26 shorts to the Soaring Unlimited Mission in Haiti. The clothing was created, mostly from remnants of other sewing projects, over a five-week period. The local United Methodist Women and Lansing’s Christ United Methodist Church help support Missionary Dorothy Fredrickson, who is currently visiting in Lansing.
