Outdoor music at Bay College includes food truck lunch hour

From Bay College

ESCANABA — Bay College is announcing the second annual “Lunchtime Live” an outdoor music and food truck lunch hour.

The series takes place on the following Tuesdays in August: 17, 24 and 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST on campus in the courtyard.

Lunchtime live is a free community event.

Surrounded by flowers, native plants, and sculptures in the beautifully curated courtyard space, this is a great way to enjoy the lunch hour. Performances are to be announced. If interested in performing, visit www.baycollege.edu/on-campus/events/lunchtime-live.php for details and to apply. Deadline to apply is Monday.

Joining the event is Bay College’s very own Matt Wiles, Food Services of the Bay Café, who will be featuring their brand-new food truck Taco Kitchen. They’ll be there serving tacos, some other goodies, and non-alcoholic beverages. This is a free event, but be sure to bring some cash for a taco or two (or three).

While on campus, Bay College requests that all guests follow CDC guidelines and that all non-vaccinated persons wear a face mask.

In the event of poor weather, the performance will be moved inside and will be announced by 10 a.m. For more information or questions, visit www.baycollege.edu/on-campus/events/music.php or contact the Events Department at 906-217-4040 or events@baycollege.edu.
