MACKINAC COUNTY — The body of a missing woman has been located in Mackinac County.

Multiple agencies on Friday conducted another ground and water search for Channelle Dennard in Moran Township. Dennard was reported missing from downstate Southfield on Oct. 27, with her vehicle found abandoned on U.S. 2 in Moran Township on Oct. 28.

After multiple aerial, water and ground searches, Dennard was found deceased. No foul play is suspected.

Assisting agencies include the U.S. Coast Guard, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office, Mackinac County 911 coordinator and emergency management director, U.S. Border Patrol, Mackinac County EMS, the Mackinac County medical examiner and the St. Ignace Fire Department.
