Police request info on vehicle thefts
FLORIDA LOCATION — The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public regarding recent thefts in the Calumet area.
On Nov. 2, a red 1970s-era Suzuki moped was taken from a yard on Allouez Street in Florida Location. It has a square headlight, chrome handlebars and black duct tape on the seat.
On Nov. 12, a youth Spiderman 125cc four-wheeler was taken from a home on Third Street in Kearsarge. On Nov. 17, a 50cc Yamaha dirt bike, blue with white trim, was taken from behind Luigi’s Bar in Calumet.
Anyone having information on the thefts is asked to contact the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office at 906-482-0055.
