TWIN LAKES — A Houghton County man was arrested Monday by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team for the delivery of methamphetamine.

Following a six-month long investigation, the suspect, a 34-year-old man from Painesdale, was arrested during a traffic stop near Twin Lakes when around 8 grams of meth was seized, UPSET officials said. The suspect was lodged at the Houghton County Jail for delivery of meth and possession with intent to distribute meth.

The investigation is ongoing, UPSET officials said.
