Meth components found in Gwinn

MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the report of a domestic disturbance between and a male and female subject at 408 Packet St. in Gwinn Wednesday around 10:30 p.m., according to a press release issued Wednesday by the sheriff’s office.

While investigating the disturbance, deputies discovered several one pot meth cook labs on the property and UPSET detectives were called to the scene, the release states.

An execution of a search warrant led to the discovery of several more components used for manufacturing methamphetamine. Several subjects are facing possible charges.

The investigation is on-going. Deputies were also assisted at the scene by the Forsyth Township Police and Fire Departments and Rescue 131, who provided logistical support.
