An adult smokey domestic medium-haired found in Ishpeming and a tan lab mixed breed adult male dog found in Gwinn were lodged at The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, which now is operating in its new building at 815 S. Found and lodged at the Alger County Animal Shelter in Munising were an 12-year-old gray and white male cat; a 10-year-old female calico cat; a male orange and white cat, age 2; a brown tiger female cat, 12 years old; a black female cat, age 2; a 4-year-old gray and white long haired male cat; a white male cat, age 12; a gray and white short-haired female cat, age 7; a gray and white long-haired male cat, age 4; a brown tiger stripe female cat, age 2; a 7-year-old black and white long-haired female cat; a 2-year-old brown female cat; a 2-year-old male brown cat; a white and black long-haired male cat, age 5; a black and white long-haired male cat, age 12; a male hound mix, age 1; and a 1-year-old male bulldog-mastiff-pitbull mix.
