Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing on Nov. 6:

-Branon Jack Suomumaki, 41, of 319 Dart St. in Gwinn, was sentenced to 186 days jail with credit for 186 days served, given 18 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Suomumaki pleaded no contest Oct. 8 to controlled substance-possession of methamphetamine.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment on Nov. 6:

-Andrea Lu LaFountain, 20, of 25 W. Ice Lake Road in Iron River, pleaded guilty to one count controlled substance-possession/analogues, a felony punishable by up to two years jail and/or $2,000. The charge stems from a April 9 incident in Ishpeming. LaFountain was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 18.

-Jeramy Louis Leeman, 17, of 144 Banshee St. in Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count larceny from a motor vehicle, a felony punishable by up to five years and/or $10,000. The charge stems from a Sept. 10 incident in West Branch Township. Leeman was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 18.

-Brandon Joseph Roy, 17, of 144 Banshee St. in Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count larceny from a motor vehicle, a felony punishable by up to five years and/or $10,000. The charge stems from a Sept. 10 incident in West Branch Township. Roy was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 18.

– David Paul Peterson, 30, address unknown, pleaded guilty to one count sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or $2,000. The charge stems from an Aug. 18 incident in Ishpeming Township. Peterson was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 18.

– Christopher Lloyd Tate-Charboneau, 20, of 5694 County Road 550 in Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count larceny in a building, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or $5,000. The charge stems from a Sept. 11 incident in Powell Township. Tate-Charboneau was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

– Craig Ryan Korpi, 35, of 707 First St. in Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marihuana), a felony punishable by up to seven years and/or $10,000. The charge stems from a March 9 incident in Ishpeming. Korpi was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

– Nicholas Gregory Patron, 34, of 2445 Werner St. in Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count check – no account, a felony punishable by up to two years and/or $500. The charge stems from a July 3 incident in Marquette Township. Patron was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment Oct. 23:

– Alan Anthony St. Aubin, 34, of 212 S. Pine Street in Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count third degree home invasion, a felony punishable by up to five years jail and/or $2,000 in fines, and one count domestic violence, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days jail and/or $500 in fines. The charges stem from a Sept. 16 incident in Ishpeming. St. Aubin was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 4.

– Lonnie Joseph Hess, Jr., 22, of 214 S. First St. in Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to two counts police officer assault/resist/obstruct, felonies punishable by up to two years jail and/or $5,000 in fines. The charges stem from a March 22 incident in Negaunee. Hess was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

– Joshua Lee Jeffries, 18, of 321 Hwy M553 in Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count controlled substance delivery/manufacture of marijuana, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or $20,000. The charge stems from an Aug. 24 incident in Negaunee. Jeffries was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

– Sherry Ann Mattson, 45, of 724 Old County Road 553 in Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count operating while intoxicated, third offense, a felony punishable by one to five years jail and $500 to $5,000 in fines. The charge stems from a Sept. 9 incident in Sands township. Mattson was scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 5.

– Amelia Laurynn Vasquez-Collins, 18, of 321 West Hall at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count police officer assault/resist/obstruct, a felony punishable by two years jail and/or $2,000 in fines, and one count controlled substance, possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor punishable by one year jail and/or $2,000. The charges stem from a Sept. 18 incident in Marquette. Vasquez-Collins was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 4.

– Adam Christopher McGuire, 31, of 519 Cherry St. in Negaunee, pleaded guilty to one count controlled substance, delivery/manufacture (schedules 1, 2, and 3 except marihuana), a felony punishable by up to seven years jail and/or $10,000.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Oct. 22:

– Joshua Lee Bolanos, 23, Baraga Maximum Prison in Baraga, was sentenced to one year to two years six months and ordered to pay fines and costs of $198. Bolanos pleaded guilty Sept. 3 to one count attempted assault of a prison employee.

– Ryan Rodney Allman, 34, of 162 Midway Drive in Negaunee, was sentenced to five to 15 years jail with credit for 120 days served and ordered to pay fines and costs of $198. Allman plead guilty Sept. 18 to one count armed robbery.

– Joseph Mark Longstaff, 29, of 206 Graham St. in Ishpeming, was sentenced to 90 days jail with balance of jail time deferred, given 12 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Longstaff pleaded guilty Sept. 11 to one count attempted larceny of $1,000 but less than $20,000.

– Christopher Frank Spagnotti, 24, of 318 Commando in Gwinn, was sentenced to 270 days jail with credit for 47 days served, 150 days jail to be served up front with the remaining balance deferred, given 24 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Spagnotti pleaded no contest Aug. 21 to two counts third degree child abuse.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Oct. 30:

– Jason Eric Dyer, 38, of 600 Hampton St. in Marquette, was sentenced to six years nine months to 25 years jail with credit for 189 days served and ordered to pay fines and costs of $198. Dyer pleaded guilty Sept. 25 to one count controlled substance – operating/maintaining a laboratory involving firearm/other harmful device.

– John Bradley Negilski, 32, of 221 Hill St. in Ishpeming, was sentenced to 210 days jail with credit for 91 days served, and the balance of jail time deferred, given 24 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $1,298. Negilski pleaded guilty Sept. 11 to one count operating under the influence.

– John Bradley Negilski, 32, of 221 Hill St. in Ishpeming, was sentenced to 91 days jail with credit for 91 days served and ordered to pay fines and costs of $198. Negilski pleaded guilty Sept. 11 to one count attempted larceny of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment on Oct. 30:

– Maurice Shauntez Gray, 33, of 58631 Runway Road in Elkhart, Indiana, pleaded guilty to one count controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 50 grams, a felony punishable by 20 years jail and/or $25,000. The charge stems from a March 18 incident in Marquette. Gray was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11.

-Jordan Paige Olander, 18, of 519 N. Fifth St. in Ishpeming pleaded guilty to one count assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or a $2,000 fine. The charge stems from a Aug. 16 incident in Ishpeming. Olander was scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 23.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Sept. 18:

-Joelene Marvi Johnson, 20, of 36 E. Anthony St., was sentenced to 18 month probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $2,958. Johnson pleaded no contest Aug. 7 to one count larceny in a building.

-Jessica Elaine Moore, 28, of 1620 Granite Ave. in Marquette, was sentenced to 120 days jail with credit for 52 days served, with the balance of jail time deferred, given 18 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $858.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Sept. 25:

-Donald Bruce Pennala, 104 New York St. in Ishpeming, was sentenced to two to 10 years jail with credit for 212 days served and ordered to pay costs and fines of $258. Pennala pleaded no contest Aug. 21 to one count assault with intent to commit sexual penetration.

-Benjamin John Reffruschinni, 55, of 950 County Road 480 in Marquette, was ordered to pay $798 in costs and fines and $2,070 restitution. Reffruschinni pleaded guilty Aug. 21 to one count attempted assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

-Stephan Cortez Akins, 21, of 425 Bluff St. in Marquette, was sentenced to two to five years jail with credit for 134 days served and ordered to pay $258 in costs and fines. Akins pleaded guilty Aug. 21 to one count attempted breaking and entering a building with intent.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Oct. 2:

-Cora Marlowe House, 27, of 1705 Kimber Ave. in Marquette, was sentenced to two years to 20 years jail with credit for 153 days served and ordered to pay costs and fines of $198. House pleaded guilty Aug. 21 to one count controlled substance, operating/maintaining a laboratory involved methamphetamine.

-Michael Paul Elenich, 41, of 205 E. Division St. in Ishpeming, was sentenced to 90 days jail with credit for 30 days served, given 24 months probation and ordered to pay costs and fines of $858 and $18,691 restitution. Elenich pleaded guilty Aug. 21 to one count child support failure to pay.

-Gregory Thomas Schoeninger, 54, of 7777 Phillips Drive in Clay Township, Michigan, was sentenced to one year six months to four years jail with credit for 363 days served and ordered to pay costs and fines of $398. Schoeninger pleaded no contest Sept. 19 to one count assault with a weapon (felonious assault) and guilty to a probation violation.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment Oct. 2:

-Jamie Steven Corkin, 24, of 519 N. First St. in Ishpeming, pleaded guilty to one count larceny in a building, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or $5,000. The charge stems from an Aug. 15 incident in Ishpeming. Corkin was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 6.

-Jacob James Erkkila, 21, of 190 Burling Road in Skandia, pleaded guilty to one count malicious destruction of personal property $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, a felony punishable by up to five years jail and/or $10,000 or three times the amount of the destruction or injury, whichever is greater. The charge stems from an Aug. 21 incident in Marquette. Erkkila was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20.

-Troy Kristopher Pietila, 30, of 35 County Road ME in Palmer, pleaded guilty to one count operating while intoxicated, third offense, a felony punishable by $500 to $5,000 in fines and either one to five years jail or probation with 30 days to one year jail. The charge stems from a April 3 incident in Richmond Township. Pietila was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20.

-Brian Joseph Summers, 29, or 181 Warrior St. in Gwinn, pleaded guilty to one count possession of a loaded firearm in or upon a vehicle, a high court misdemeanor punishable by two years jail and/or $2,500. The charge stems from a June 27 incident in Chocolay Township. Summers was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 6.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Oct. 8:

-Karl Jacob Harger, 26, of 1043 M-95 in Republic, was sentenced to two years six months to 15 years jail with credit for 43 days served and ordered to pay fines and costs of $258. Harger pleaded guilty Aug. 31 to one count third degree criminal sexual conduct of an incapacitated victim.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment Oct. 8:

-Robert Wallace Oakland, 25, of 217 Johnson Road in Skandia, pleaded guilty to one count second degree home invasion, a felony punishable by 15 years jail and/or $3,000. The charge stems from a July 23 incident in Marquette. Oakland was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for sentencing Oct. 16:

-Brent Joseph Kurian, 24, of 611 Spruce St. in Negaunee, was sentenced to 360 days jail with credit for 83 days served, with 300 days to be served up front and the remaining balance of jail time to be deferred, given 24 months probation and ordered to pay fines and costs of $798. Kurian pleaded guilty Sept. 11 to one count controlled substance delivery/manufacture (schedule 1, 2, 3).

-Willie Franklin Jones, 29, of 117 Queen St. in Negaunee, pleaded guilty to one count attempted financial transaction device, stealing/retaining without consent, a high court misdemeanor punishable by up to two years jail or $1,000. The charge stems from a March 18, 2006 incident in Negaunee. Jones was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 3.

-Justin Ryan Eyler, 31, of 6641 Manson Ave. in Clarkston, pleaded guilty to one count financial transaction device, stealing/retaining without consent, a felony punishable by up to four years jail and/or $5,000. The charge stems from June 27 incident in Marquette. Eyler was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20.

-Cody Michael Renfroe, 17, no address listed, pleaded guilty to one count first degree home invasion, a felony punishable by up to 20 years jail and/or $5,000. The charge stems from a July 18 incident in Forsyth Township. Renfroe was scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 20.

Appearing before Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi for arraignment Oct. 23:

-David James Bellmer, 37, of 187 Rascal in Gwinn, pleaded no contest to one count domestic violence, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days jail and/or $500 in fines; he pleaded guilty to one count attempted weapons, firearms possession by a felon, a felony punishable by up to two and a half years jail and/or $5,000 in fines. The charges stem from a Sept. 10 incident in Forsyth Township. Bellmer was scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 4.
