DENVER — Dror Liebenthal, CEO of Bold.org, an independent scholarship provider in the U.S., said it recently launched the Barbara J. DeVaney Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Scholarship details are as follows:

≤ Eligibility: Any female-identifying high school, undergraduate, graduate, or trade school student who’s a single mother, widow, immigrant, woman of color, first-generation college student or survivor of abuse may apply for this scholarship. Students pursuing careers in the medical field, trades or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are strongly preferred.

≤ Six winners will receive $10,000 each while six winners will receive $5,000 each.

The application deadline is Sept. 21.
