Nessel blames Whitmer kidnap trial acquittals on ‘right-leaning’ jurors

DETROIT — Michigan’s attorney general suggested conservative politics played a role in the acquittal of three men in the final trial related to a plan to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
