Flags to be lowered
LANSING — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has ordered U.S. and Michigan flags within the State Capitol Complex and upon all public buildings and grounds across the state of Michigan to be lowered to half-staff today to remember those who lost their lives during the 9/11 terrorist attack.
Flags should be returned to full-staff on Sunday.
The governor also declared today as 9/11 Remembrance Day.
